Liquid E smartphone is available for purchase by customers in
Canada exclusively through Rogers Communications, Canada’s leading wireless provider.
The elegant Liquid E is an attention getter that looks as good as it performs.

user-friendly Android 2.1 Éclair operating system and three predictive keyboard options.

Measuring just 115mm long x 64mm wide x 12.75mm thick, the Liquid E is sleek, yet comes with a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive display offering ample viewing area and intuitive, precise operation. Integrated WiFi b/g and HSDPA 7.2Mbps fuel fast connectivity that’s accessible almost anywhere. The battery affords up to five hours of talk time and up to 400 hours in standby mode.

The Liquid E offers three XT9 keyboards, which include

By simply touching the screen or pressing the side shutter key, users can capture images quickly and easily with the integrated
5MP camera.
The refreshed gallery application allows users to browse pictures and videos in an elegant,
fluid 3D interface.
They can also preview photos and video albums with a new thumbnail-based interface and browse pictures in
animated 3D.
UrFooz extends the ability to create an avatar and share it. In addition to
HD video, users can enjoy

Gianfranco Lanci, president of Acer Inc. since 2005, assumed duo responsibilities as the company CEO in June 2008 - an acknowledgement of his outstanding management.
Under his performance-driven leadership, Lanci's focus is to enhance the Acer Group's presence globally under a new multi-brand strategy - following the recent acquisitions of Gateway and Packard Bell.
Lanci has long been recognized for his exceptional performance in the European market, including the successful implementation of Acer's Channel Business Model, which has been extended to the company’s worldwide operations.
Lanci also brings with him a keen understanding of cross-regional and cross-cultural differences.
Born in Turin in 1954, Lanci graduated from the Politecnico of Turin with a degree in civil engineering.
He joined TI Italia in 1981, and at the age of 37 became country manager for the Portable Computers and Printers Division in Italy, the Middle East and Africa.
In 1996 he was appointed president of EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) for Texas Instruments’ (TI) Personal Productivity Products Division.
When TI's portable PC business merged with Acer in 1997, Lanci became managing director of Acer Italy.
After Lanci's appointment as managing director of Acer Italy in 1997, he immediately began consolidating the channel- and partner- relations at all levels.
His commitment to brand promotion has made Acer the No. 1 ranking notebook brand in Italy since 1997.
In 2000, Lanci became president of Acer Europe and began building up a strong European organization.
On becoming the president of Acer EMEA in 2002, Lanci introduced his proven channel-business model that turned record-setting profits across EMEA.
In 2003 Lanci was appointed president of Acer's International Operations Business Group, allowing him to be directly involved in the Pan-American market.
The designation confirmed Acer's acknowledgement of his outstanding channel management and marketing activities, as well as the key role he played for Acer’s success in EMEA.

Born in July 1954, Wang holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University and an Executive MBA from Taiwan’s National Cheng-Chi University. Since 2008 he has served as president of the Taipei Computer Association in Taiwan.
Wang and his wife have two daughters.
