China Driving eSIM Adoption Says New GSMA Report
Barcelona, Spain - February 27, 2019 - The GSMA today announced the release of a new report highlighting the significant progress made by Chinese mobile operators, vendors and manufacturers in adopting Remote SIM Provisioning and eSIM technologies. The in-depth report which is titled "eSIM in China: the road ahead" and was prepared by GSMA Intelligence in partnership with the Telecommunication Terminal Industry Forum Association (TAF), draws on fresh insights from China's three mobile operators - China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom - as well other companies from the wider mobile ecosystem and highlights developments particularly in the consumer electronics and IoT sectors.

BMW Group and Daimler AG invest more than EUR 1 billion in joint mobility services provider
Berlin, Germany - February 22, 2019 - The BMW Group and Daimler AG are pooling their mobility services to create a new global player providing sustainable urban mobility for customers. The two companies are investing more than EUR 1 billion in total to develop and more closely intermesh their offerings for car-sharing, ride-hailing, parking, charging and multimodal transport. The cooperation comprises five joint ventures: REACH NOW for multimodal services, CHARGE NOW for charging, FREE NOW for taxi ride-hailing, PARK NOW for parking and SHARE NOW for car-sharing.

U.S. Government Approves Release of Boeing EA-18G Growler to Finland
Arlington, Va., USA - February 18, 2019 - Boeing (NYSE: BA) and the U.S. Navy have received U.S. Department of Defense approval to offer the EA-18G Growler to Finland. Previously only Australia had been authorized to purchase the airborne electronic attack (AEA) aircraft. Boeing and the Navy have offered the Growler and F/A-18 Super Hornet in a response to query issued by the Finnish Ministry of Defense as part of their HX fighter program procurement.
